Shoosrocket is excited and proud to announce the completion of a new, redesigned website for the Mediation Offices of Floyd J. Siegal. Floyd has developed a well-deserved reputation in legal circles as a gifted mediator and creative problem-solver. In support of his mediation practice, Floyd hired Shoosrocket to develop a new and re-designed website.
Shoosrocket worked closely with Floyd to define the project goals and clarify his vision for the final product. After all was said and done, the project parameters were distilled to the following straighforward concepts: (1) use a blue and gray color palette, (2) keep the layout clean and gimmick-free and (3) take all the content from his old site and incorporate it within a scalable framework that would allow for content management. The end result was a strikingly elegant design featuring a bold slider on the homepage that is subtly incorporated on each page in the form of a static header for site and brand continuity. White-space is effectively used throughout the site for visual balance while complimenting the natural flow of content. Built on WordPress, the new website showcases Floyd’s background, training and experience, provides information about mediation and the mediation services offered, serves as a hub for his monthly e-newsetter entitled “Resolution Strategies,” and allows visitors the ability to schedule a mediation directly from the site.
On May 1, 2012, the new site went live simultaneously with the client’s monthly e-newsletter. The feedback received by Floyd in the hours and days following the launch has been overwhelmingly positive (phew!). Best of all, we were able to meet and exceed Floyd’s expectations and look forward to supporting Floyd and his business for years to come.
Best of luck Floyd!
The best way to appreciate the website’s transformation is to see a “before” and “after” shot, so here you go:
